I have a Macbook and am unable to connect to most wireless networks. I try to join a selected airport and it just says there was an error in connecting to whichever airport.
Help?

How do you have your Network settings set on your Mac? You probably want to use DHCP, unless you know the network router is set up differently. It's in the Network Pres Pane under Airport.

click on the apple at the top right > system preferences > network > select airport > tcp/ip and make sure your system is set to use dhcp.. the wireless networks you are using, are they unsecured wifi from hot spots or wireless from a friends house?

Ok, how is your router set up? Is it set to assign IP addresses via DHCP/NAT? What kind of wireless router are you using? Is there any security turned on for the router and wireless clients?
