how to load the new ipod's software to the old ipod?

Hey guys,

is it possible to load the software that is on the new ipod to an old ipod? ie: cover flow .. etc.

I very much doubt it. The new Pods appear to be OSX-based. Could be wrong though.

I'd say its possible.
Its just Firmware ... isn't it?

The newer ones might be using a completely different architecture - the nano is also a different screen aspect ratio, and I doubt they've clogged up the firmware with code that checks to see what the screen size is. Apple may also choose not to allow it for sales purposes.

It's possible, I just don't think it's likely.
