Where are the old Nanos?

Now that the new Nanos are out, I want to pick up and old one cheap. But the only thing listed in Apple's clearance are the 4GB iPhones, and the old refurb Nanos are still $129 (just $20 less than the new ones).

Will Apple put the old Nanos on clearamnce? What do they do with them?

Have you checked any B&M Apple stores for existing stock of the older ones?

Or try a local Apple reseller like Best Buy or maybe a locally owned Apple reseller. They might still have some on the shelves.

My guess is Apple's just going offer them refurb at $129 until they're gone. (I was looking at nanos on eBay yesterday.)

If you're a student or educator, now is the time to buy that new Mac. They're still offering the free iPod nano with the purchase of a Mac until 9/16 if you qualify for the educational discount. I got mine last month and I was thinking of selling the nano, but now I'm keeping it.

I was just expecting the old 4GB Nanos to be going for $100 or something. I suppose they will be in other retailers. I just didn't think to check anywhere but Apple.

I think the old nano is nicer new one looks fat

Personally, I didn't care for the old nano. It was awkwardly narrow and the screen was too small to be of much use.
