Is anyone using the new iWeb from iLife08 and statcounter.com? I'm getting page hits from the widget I inserted for the page hit counter from statcounter.

Previously I used iWeb Enhancer to add html code including statcounter without getting hits on my log.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I tried iweb and noticed statcounter didnt play too well with it also.

I had to open the html file in DW and enter the code from there.... and was not even sure that worked, so I went back to dw.

Here's the answer I got from the apple iweb forum:

"That's normal behavior when you insert code using web widgets.
Web widgets creates html files for the inserted code, then links the html files to the page using iframe. So you see the hit on the iframe.

Work around: insert code directly in the page (post editing process).
Important: do not post edit blog/podcast page if you publish to .mac, it potentially cripple .mac commenting system. "
