My hardwired desktop runs fine with my internet, pretty fast. My macbook on the other hand runs really slow using this wireless router. Not only is it slow, but it is also painfully slower when im downloading something. Someone please help me out! Thanks!

Try updating the firmware for the router. I've got the same router and after doing this, it kicked back up to normal speeds.
