Dual booting OS X and OS X

Hi

I made a backup of my current Tiger setup, and I want to reinstall a clean version, but is it possible to (afterwards) put back the backup to a seperate parition and boot it? Therefor having 2 Tiger installations side by side? The backup is a sparseimage made with SuperDuper

You'd be better off using CarbonCopyCloner to clone your system to another partition, then reformat the original partition and reinstall.

Yes, you would be able to boot from either of them, although I'm not sure why you would want to.
