Is there still a heating issue with the Macbook 2.16G?

Thought it is a new upgraded gen, and should be better than the last gen Macbook.
Just ordered a 2.16G Black Macbook, so wonder if there are any issues still there.

ive got a black 2.16ghz

as far as i can tell i have never had any heating issues with it...i guess i could have had some that i havent noticed, since every so often under heavy strain operation it does spin the fans very high and get hot at the vent at the back

if im honest, i would expect that, but that might be what you mean by heating issues

Seems much better than last generation MB
Have you ever upgraded the OS? what is the default version of OS installed with an new MB? Some guys said upgrade OS(or BIOS?) really helps to cool down, and quite down the fan.

To be honest, the overheating macbook thing was from the original units. Now they seem to be fine and complaints have been a lot less.

Just make sure your OS is upto date (when you buy it it should be, if not just connect to the net and click on the apple logo and click software update)
