hey all,

Don't ask how but I must have deleted iDVD... I am desperate to burn a vid from iMovie to DVD but I can't! I have tried exporting from iMovie to MPEG then burning it using Burn, but the quality is horrible!

Any suggestions?

iDVD came (free?) with my operating system, so is there anywhere on the web I can download it from? I have found some upgrade files but not the actual program.

I also cannot find my original apple cd, but should I just be able to restore iDVD off that if I found it?

Thanks for any help!

AFAIK, you cannot download any iLife applications independently. You have 3 (legal) choices.

- Find your Tiger install DVDs. You can reinstall iDVD from this
- Purchase iLife 08
- Purchase iLife 06 from ebay or a friend or upgraded

Incidentally, iLife doesn't come with the OS, but it does come with a new Mac, on the install DVD.

Ok thanks for your reply mate. I actually found a way around it exporting with iMovie, then burning using Burn. But I will purchase iLife 08 soon anyway. Thanks.
