Mac mail and Yahoo

Not sure if this is the right place to add this but I'm desperate.

I've just set up a yahoo mail account and am struggling to get it to download into my mac mail application. It keeps asking me for my password. I give it and it asks again, then again etc. But if I log in online, it works fine.

HELP PLEASE....

It doesn't provide free POP3 access. You have to pay for it.
