What do you recommend?

I'm finally getting my creative life back! Woohoo! What's an absolute must have?

Or maybe it's not a magazine but internet site. What good reference material does a designer who's been stuck in PC hades and re-entering the Mac world need to know?

Thanks everyone.

I'm going to say most of the creative software that you have been using is probably the same as what it will be on the mac. Photoshop and Illustrator both work the same on the mac as do most other programs.

I quite like Computer Arts, Computer Arts Project and iCreate.

If you're from the UK, it's worth having a look at the Magazine-Stand.co.uk site. They've got great deals on thos mags.

I just subscribed to them and I'm loving the tips and articles.

I see they have 3 issue of icreate for £1 and then then £25.20 every 6 issues by direct debit.

If I cancel the direct debits after the first £1 will I be ok?

I'm not sure...

A work colleague of mine raved about the site and so I looked into it. I only just subscribed over the last few days.

I don't see a reason why there should be a problem. I'm keen to keep a rolling subscription with them.

I also got Photoshop Creative and Official Corel Painter off Magazine-Stand for the same deal. 3 issues for £1.00.

Let me know what happens if you cancel after the debit for £1.00.:D
