Retreiving Mac files on a PC CD

Just taken delivery of a Powerbook G4 15".

I saved Mac software onto a CD with my PC. How do I retreive the software files with my Powerbook? Powerbook does not see the CD when I insert it.

I have experienced similar problems when reading CDs that originated from a PC. I'm not sure why. I am assuming someone will say that something in the way the PC did the CD burn causes this to happen but in a PC world where you are using a Mac that really isn't a good reason.

I dont know about the burning, but if you have your PC and Mac on a network, just share the cd drive/folder/files on the PC and you should be able to access them from your Mac.

No network....Just a CD
