I have an iBook G3 with a dead display, and I removed the hard drive and put it in an external case to copy the files to a PowerBook G4 running 10.3.9.
System Profiler recognizes the device as a "USB to IDE Bridge", but I can't get the disk to show up anywhere.
The iBook would chime at start up, but like I said, no display.
Any suggestions?
