Hi, I bought this camera to use with iMovie for holidays and home movies and that. It all imports fine and everything but the quality doesn't seem to be very good, I'm wondering weather there is a setting in iMovie that will help. (connected by a gold plated miniDV to Firewire cable)
It's a 3CCD miniDV camcorder and I thought the quality would be alot better. When iMovie exports the movie as a .dv the quality is poor, but if I recode the video to a .mp4 h.264 using iSquint, then the quality improves quite a bit.
Am I missing something?
