Free icons ?

does anyone know of a good (free) source of icons on the net ?. web icons like the type used on that CSS mac dock menu (check link below)

Yeah i checked them out already, i am looking for ones a bit more slicker and that could be use for a web menu, like a house (home), letter (contact)..etc

Yeah thats true, if you want quality you gotta pay for it;D . what about icon making software thats out their? i always come across ones for windows, but have not found any for OSX.
