Can't get DSL so am forced into dial up where I live.
I have looked at both the Apple USB mini modem and the Zoom 3095F for the Mac Pro.
I have heard of *speed problems on the Apple but nothing on the Zoom (no reviews of performance at all).
Has anybody used both or one of these modems so I can compare or have any suggestions or preferences?
Are they possibly the same modem in a different box?
Are there any better dial up modems out there that will work on the Mac Pro (OSX and Windows)?
*someone in another forum said they didn't get as high a speed connection when comparing the Apple mini modem with an internal in other equipment.
