Hi,

Searched for this problem and no one seems to have it. I've done some research on the net and was aware that Macbooks are shutting down randomly. Mine isn't sutting down randomly, it just won't come on unless the power cable is inserted. Battery is fully charged so no probs there.

I'm still in my one year warranty. Has anyone else had this specific problem?

If you're in warranty, just contact Apple and get it fixed or take it to a store. It sounds like the battery is no good, because if it's reporting fully charged and won't power up it might be the charge reporting circuit that's preventing it from charging right. Whatever it is, it's a hardware issue and not something anyone but Apple can help you with :(
