Space bar = down .. and up!

I never knew about this and it happened by accident (switching between tabs and hit the wrong keys), everyone knows pressing space goes down on a webpage or something, but if you hold shift and press space it'll go up.

I cant seem to figure out how to switch in between tabs in safari. command+} doesnt seem to work besides going back a page.

command shift ] or [
or command shift arrow key right/left

And to switch to different tabs in Firefox use:

Cmd+1 (go to first tab)
Cmd+2 (go to second tab)
Cmd+3 (go to third tab)
Cmd+4
Cmd+5
Etc......

Shift is a standard "reverse" button.

For example, you probably know:
Command Z = Undo
And as expected:
Shift Command Z = Redo

And in web browsers such as Safari and Firefox, most people probably know about:
Delete = Back
(Delete, not Forward Delete)
Here's one some people don't know about:
Shift Delete = Forward


As for changing tabs, here are all the ways:
(some of which have already been listed by others)

Safari:

Command Shift [ and ]
Command Shift Left and Right (not a very reliable way though, because if the focus is in a text box, it doesn't work)

Firefox:

Command Option Left and Right
Control Page Up and Page Down
Command 1 to 9 for the 1st to 9th tab
