Red Caution Sign on Folder

There is a red circle on one of my folders that has a minus sign in it. It seems to be a type of caution sign but I don't know what it means. Does anyone know what this means?

The red minus sign you see on the folder is because you have no access i.e. no read, no write permissions to the folder. Clicking on it will ask you the password of the person that owns that folder.
