Will this Transcend 2GB stick workin in my Macbook Pro 2.16 GHz model?

Reviers said that it works in their Santa Roza models, but I have a 2.16 GHz Mac with a max of 3GB. It was bought around February 2007. Will it work for me? Please let me know soon. My specifications are these:

It should work. Even though the bus on Santa Rosa is 800MHz, the RAM only runs at 667MHZ. The MB and MBP's can all use the same 667MHZ RAM modules. I'm running a similar 2GB stick in my August 2007 MB for a total of 3GB and it works just fine. Bought from OWC though.

How much of a boost in performance did you get when you installed it? I am guessing that you had 2GB before.
