You've never taken a computer before??
First off, watch for static electricity. Any amount will kill the processor or logic board and render them useless. Buy a magnetic bracelet or keep some object of metal on ur body to keep you from building any static.
I've never taken a PowerMac before so I do not know how to remove the processor. I would assume there instructions online or with the upgraded processor.
I've built my own PC's and its simple, just find the handle that locks the processor from the motherboard , left it up, and the processor comes right off. Of course remove the fan and such but it appears these only use the heat shields (metal looking teeth.)
Good luck.
