Hey everybody,
Today I installed the big batch of updates Apple released on July 31. When I turned it on, I was told there was one last update that required me to turn off the machine and then hold down the power button.
I did, and the machine started to come on, but I guess I held the button down a little too long. Now the machine won't turn on. Everytime I press the button, I hear the same sound I always get when I turn on my machine, except that now it just goes on and on and on, and the MBP never actually boots up.
I wish I could remember the exact name of the update. It had something to do with power issues for MBP's running Intel processors.
Any advice?
