Why is it that Safari on Windows can access/run Yahoo Mail beta just fine but will not work on Safari on OS X?

Are you running Safari 3 on the Mac?

Yea...I just updated it and it (Yahoo Mail Beta) won't allow me to run the beta version...I mean that the "Try the Beta" option is nowhere to be found.

Maybe the Beta is only for Windows?

Sorry, Yahoo! Mail Beta does not support your browser.
You can either download a compatible browser or proceed to the original Yahoo! Mail. We recommend you update your browser and enjoy the NEW Yahoo! Mail experience.

If you want to use the Yahoo! Mail Beta...
You can download any of the supported browsers for free by clicking the links below:
Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher (for Windows)
Firefox 2.0.0.1 or higher (for Mac and Windows)
SeaMonkey 1.0.8 or higher (for Mac and Windows)

Well if they say so, they obviously have their reasons...

I don't understand it either. I been retrying Firefox lately, and it works with FF, don't understand why not Safari, since it is not dependent on Windows.
