I have an iMac that has a built in webcam but I want to do some videocasts and need to be able to move the camera around a bit so I'm looking to get a USB one that I can then hand hold.
I've only recently made the switch to Mac's so I'm not really sure about compatability. Do I have to buy a webcam that specifically says that it's compatible with OSX or can I just by any Windows compatible one? Basically I need something that iMovie will either recognise and let me record direct from the camera or one that either comes with some software or can be used with some other 3rd party software to let me record the feed and then import it in iMovie.
Any ideas, recommendation for webcams?
