• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I'm trying to install the decklink sp pcie card on my Mac Pro in the PCIe slot 4. But when I boot or start the Mac Pro, nothing happen, I only heard the fans and that's it. I turned it off a couple times holding the power button. I disconnected all cables except the power cable, and the Mac Pro start or boot. When the Mac OS Tiger is up, I open the System Profiler, and check the PCI cards, it's there(decklink). I installed the software 6.1(drivers and stuff), but never restart the Mac Pro. The same problem again and again. I took off the card and boot Mac Pro correctly like usual. I need help. I got the latest Mac Pro 8 core.
