The Great American RAM swap... iMac --> Macbook

Last night I swapped out the RAM between my iMac and my MacBook...

The iMac had 2GB (2 x 1GB) and the MacBook had 1GB (2 x 512MB)...

Now it's MacBook = 2GB
and iMac = 1GB

The entire process took about 5 minutes... Everything is working perfectly.

Just thought I'd share..

what prompted the switch? do you spend more time on your macbook?

and i agree switching the ram was much easier and quicker than i thought i would be

Exactly... After purchasing the MacBook... 90% of my time is on the MacBook... And... I like to take things apart. :D:D:D
