When Tiger comes out, what's the best way to upgrade? Should we do a complete reinstallation or should we just "upgrade" it, so as to ensure a very stable system? What are your opinions?

Thanks,
Sonny

I did the archive and install with Panther and it worked really well on my iBook.

I did the upgrade because I had no method of backing up gigs and gigs of data. It wasn't too good. You should back up and wipe your drive clean, and install.

Just say NO to upgrade

Upgrading an OS is bad. It's bad under Windows, it's bad under OS X. Back your data up and and then do at LEAST Archive and Install, or as the BEST solution, do a clean install.
