Hi all,
Since hooking up my monitor via the DVI cable, it will periodically "freeze" approximately every 20 minutes. The freeze lasts about 10 seconds, during which the computer still responds to keyboard and mouse input, but none of this activity is displayed on the monitor. At the end of the 10 seconds, there is a solid blue screen for a second or so, and then everything is back to normal until the cycle begins again in about 20 minutes. I previously had the same monitor hooked up via a serial cable and did not experience this. What is going on?
My CPU: PowerMac dual 2GHz G5, 4.5GB RAM, OEM ATI Radeon X800 XT Graphics Card
My OS: OSX 10.4.10
My Monitor: Princeton VL1919 (19" LCD)
