question on processors on g5

hey i wanted to know on the dual processors if when you buy a dual does it equal what is says it is or is that per processor for example if i got a g5 dual 2.0 does the 2 processors = 2.0ghz or do they both have a 2.0 ghz speed? I have thought it was 2.0 per processor but just heard different

A "dual" processor system means it has two processors, each rated for the speed advertised.
For example, a Dual 2.0 Ghz Power Mac G5 would have two (dual) 2.0 Ghz processors in it.
