I just ran the system check thingy that's recommended when you start up Onyx, and I got this message:

"The volume needs to be repaired.

To repair your startup-disk, start up from your Mac OS X Install disc (CD or DVD), then choose Utilities > Disk Utility..."

I put the CD in, now what exactly do I do? I don't see anything that says "utilities" unless I first click on "Xcode Tools". But then all that's in that folder is "uninstall-devtools.pl"

what do I do?!

thanks.

You have to reboot while holding "C" down... to get to the Disk Utility Onyx is asking you to use.. Do NOT reinstall the OS though (unless of course that is what you want to do).

*Onyx told me the same thing... I went through the process, and Onyx STILL told me it needed repair... I think it is a mistake on Onyx's part...
