I've just switched from using PCs to Macs and thought I'd give some DVDs a try.
Despite my efforts, the region set on the DVD isn't compatible with my Mac (I bought it from a UK store and have UK DVDs).
Being a complete noob, I really don't know how to access any options or whatever to change the settings. Can anyone help, please??

Have you tried downloading VLC?

I had issues playing DVDs when I first got my Mac, but then I downloaded VLC and haven't had a problem since.
