I just got a new eMac. I also bought an airport extreme card. Now, I opened the disc drive as the directions said, and tried to open the two screws. One of them came out, however the other isn't. So basically the thing is half off. the other screw is stuck, and it's not star-pointed. What should I do? Do i need to go all the way back to the Apple store to get it fixed? Is there another way I can get the card in, or get the screw out?

The screws are often extremely tight, and you need a properly-sized small screwdriver to remove them. If you're having trouble getting it out, I'd encourage you to take it to your local Apple store. If you try to remove it and you strip the head of the screw, it could make matters much more difficult for you.

I've used a small pair of vice grips on the head of the stubborn screws. When there is room it works well. If you have room and the tool, try it. A small pair of pliers may work as well.
