I have a quick question, is there any way to make the buttons, tick boxes etc in Firefox look more like the rounded ones in Safari? I took a quick screenshot so you know what I mean.

No. But Firefox 3 for Mac will use those buttons.

You can have the cake right now with this plugin:
http://www.amake.us/software/firefoxy/

Then with FF3 you get to eat your cake, too.

However... if you're a developer you'd not want to change the default - since it looks more like the other 99% of the browsers (IE).
