No. Parallels can use your Boot Camp partition if you like. If not, there's no reason that the two can't play nicely together.

+1 on above answer.

The only reason to uninstall BootCamp is to free up some disk space, other than that might as well leave it be and choose OS X at boot time then load Parallels if you need windows.
