I dont know if its the right forum but anyway: I accidently got my vmware virtual disk file removed from the file system by using an 'unlink' command. I suspect the file is still there but just needs to be found and pointed to somewhere, but I have no clue how to do such a thing. Does anyone know how I could get this file back?

I did a 'man unlink' and see it is related to the rm command. Unless you can find a utility to undelete the file, you are hosed. Search the forums for mention of such a utility. Likely in the Switchers forum.
