I'm wondering what the sound quality of macs in general are, namely iBooks. I'm wondering if my Logitech z5300s will be too much for them, and the sound card or whatever it has will crap out on me during DVDs, games, and music (192kbps).

Thoughts?

The speakers on my iBook G4 is pretty tinny. But the sound hardware should be very good. The audio chips are pretty much a commodity item. Any computer will be able to handle CD quality DA conversion. The limiting factor usually is the speaker.

Okay, good. Lol, my Logitech z5300s 5.1 280wRMS THX speakers will suffice. :)
