unable to open .dmg or .bin files

you cant get support for those version anymore, why not upgrade?
my only fix to that is reformat everything and start from the beggining i guess. but maybe its because those thing you dl are not for the version your using.

System 7.5.5 needs Stuffit Expander 4.1, according to this page at Low End Mac (scroll down to Stuffit Expander). But the page does not have a link to the program.
Versiontracker.com's oldest Expander for Classic appears to be 7.0.3, but the page says it requires System 8.6 to 9.
I don't know whether those old Expanders could open .dmg files, in any case. I doubt it, though.

A .dmg is Mac OS X only, looks like. But it is said it can be mounted on an HFS volume?...
