Applications stop working, pop in dock then disappear!

This has been happening with multiple apps, including (but not limited to) Warcraft 3, Microsoft office, and MP Navigator (scanning software for canon printer). I open an app and the icon will bounce on the dock for about a second, then it disappears. I have repaired permissions, repaired disk, reinstalled. No luck on any of it.

What do I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

gort- You may want to check the ram. It would explain some things, especially after reinstalling the OS. Try removing/changing some ram and see if it helps. Could also do the Apple Hardware test.


Kcender- If the alias in the Dock doesn't work, delete it and make a new one.
