Another iPhoto crashing post

I've searched and found other instances of iPhoto crashing, but not in the same way mine is. It was fine up until I tried to create some albums. For some reason one of my events got all messed up, it has no name or dates anymore, and whenever I'm using iPhoto, and I click out of the program (to view my web browser, for instance) it crashes, and I choose to reopen it. As soon as I click outside the program again (even on the desktop) it crashes again.
Any ideas on what to do? Reinstall it from the iLife 08 disk? Thanks-

p.s. I'm using a few-day-old Macbook

Hi Alicia .
If your Macbook is only a few days old call Apple support. It may be best to do this before you try a re-install

One last thing...Have you looked for an update there is one but it may only be for that Web gallery...
