.avi to DVD problem

I've been able to convert some .avi files to DVD using Toast 7. They work fine on my mac but I'm getting a "disc error" message when I try it in my regular DVD player.

All I'm doing is opening Toast, using "DVD-Video" mode and draging and droping the .avi to toast and burning to disc.

Am I missing a step?

All my other movies that I make with iDVD work great using the same discs.

Why is it working on my mac but not on a regular DVD player?

I tried it in yet another DVD player and I got a message in the TV creen saying "NOT NTSC"

Can an .avi file be PAL or NTSC?

Where can I download "burn" from?

Yeah, I'm sure the whole PAL NTSC thing is a setting in the DVD Software Preferences.

Usually with that piece of software active, you can go to the top menu, and click on the program name, then Preferences, and see if it's a setting in there.

Here is the link for Burn

I've got the settings for Toast set up for NTSC. That hasn't been a problem in the past. I was just wondering if when making the .avi if it's dne in PAL. I don't think that's possible though.

Thanks for the burn link.
