I recently downloaded a speed download program to improve downloading times. i recently deleted it as it did not improve downloding times significantly. Now i cannot download anything from any site, has the speed download altered the configeration of my system can someone help me please.Im on an imac running 10.2.8

Mac Pro Quad Xeon 2.66GHz 3GB RAM, G4 Quicksilver w/Sonnet 1GHz Encore ST, 1ghz G4 Powerbook
If the program is "Speed Download"…

You cannot simply trash the Speed Download folder to uninstall it.
Quit all browsers and any running copy of Speed Download.
Run the Speed Download Uninstaller (located in your Speed Download folder).
Log out and log back in.
Empty the trash.

If it isn't Speed Download then maybe your program has an uninstaller.
