Ok. I live in Pittsburgh, PA. The closest city the Dashboard can find to me on a map is Columbus, OH which is 185 miles away. How can I customize the Dashboard to find my city? I don't need to know the weather in Columbus, OH! Can someone help?

I just typed in Pittsburgh, PA into the weather widget and it found it just fine.

Be sure to hit Enter after entering your city and state before hitting the Done button.

Uhm...where do you type it? It does not give me the option to type anything anywhere. I do not see any "done" button either. I have searched everywhere and cannot locate anything like what you described anywhere. I am a Mac newbie and I realize that this is probably a really REALLY dumb question but I am at a loss.

When you hover the mouse over the widget an little 'i' should show up. When you click on it the widget will flip over giving you the option to type in your city. Most widgets have this little 'i' that flips the widget over to allow you to choose different options.

I am still very much inclined to blame myself than the Mac for this. I have hovered my mouse over every place where I can find a widget and there is just no "i" that appears anywhere. If I bring the dashboard up or if I click the "+" to add/remove widgets or if I click on "manage widgets" or if I go into the Finder to manage the widgets there is just nowhere that displays an "i". What am I not doing that I clearly should be?

when you click the dashobard key( whatever you have it set at) then just place your cursor over th bottom right hand corner of the widget and an "i" should appear, just click this and it will flip and you can edit the location.

is it the standard weather widget, or is it downloaded from a third party.

I see it in your snapshot there, yes. It does not exist on my Dashboard. How do I get it to come up?

I can't believe it took me this long to do this. Thank you all so much!
