0s9 boot in osx

I've only had a mac for about 6 months and have become pretty good with it. I see you can start classic and run os9 programs but can you either boot into it or use it in full screen so it looks like youre running os9?

Depends on your Mac. Older Macs can boot into OS 9 using the Startup Disk pane in System Preferences. OS 9 doesn't have the drivers (etc.) to support newer Macs, like your iMac.

Correct. You are not able to just run OS 9. All of your capable OS 9 applications have to be run in Classic.
