You read the title.

Apple's new razor thin keyboard doesn't have a numeric keypad in the wirless edition.

I don't know if it's a batter issue, but I think it's stupid. I do all my accounts and fast number entry with the numeric keypad, and now I have to trade-off? Since when did an Apple customer have to compromise?!

It's designed to sit on your lap. If you do that with a full-size keyboard, the main keys are offset to one side making it more difficult to use. This one positions the keys directly in front of you.

Surely by now we've learnt that Apple always do things for a reason, however unpopular it is?

Since when did an Apple customer have to compromise?!

People who want to upgrade their graphics cards have to compromise. People who wanted a 17" iMac now have to compromise. People who want a 13" MBP have to compromise. There are a lot of compromises buying Apple computers.
