I have Safari on my mac and my pc (beta 3 on the pc) but the only thing in the Safari pane is the printer (which is plugged into the router). So what the heck (wow, sensitive swear filter) is Bonjour supposed to do? I already have file sharing through the finder and the network and theres no iChat for windows, so I can't send messages to the pc.

Bonjour is a protocol based on Universal Plug n' Play, that makes it easier to connect to networked devices like shared printers and NAS devices.

Bonjour is just a way of finding services (shared volumes, printers etc.) on a network without setting them all up manually. If there are no services available then it won't do anything.
