I have a Powermac G5 1.6ghz that was given to me rather than throwing it away. Everything was pretty much gone on it. I replaced the logic board, the memory, and the graphics card. It finally starts up and gives me a screen.

However, when it starts up all I get is the startup screen with the Apple logo and the background is purple.

Does anyone know what that means? I've been trying to boot from the optical drive with no success.

Please help!

Thanks!
