Often I have multiple windows open in a single application and I want to alt-tab between them, just like on a PC. However I can only alt-tab between applications, forcing me to use the "Windows" menu or press F10 which is annoying. Is there an app that add this functionality? Or worse, is there a key combo that does exactly what I want and I'm just ignorant of it?

Thanks.

Hi there, on Mac OS 10.4, you can use the command (the key with the apple on the left of the space bar) - tab key to perform the function. It will bring up a "strip" of icons displaying opened windows. Hope this helps.

Or, alternatively,

Command + Tab - Next program

then while holding that still (command+tab), you can use the arrow keys to navigate through the programs.

Do you have Expose' turned on? Then you can quickly select any window you want with a swipe of your mouse. And thanks Remain, I've never used the key commands for windows within an application, very helpful!

The program Witch makes alt-tab (not command-tab) work exactly like Windows and it is free. For more info, go here.

In Photoshop, use Control Tab instead of Command `

;p

Well, that's the standard Windows "next document/next tab" keyboard shortcut, so Adobe either forgot to change it for the OS X version or they just decided to use that shortcut for both versions. Who knows?
