it just cant turn on

could please somebody advice me on how to troubleshooting a imac wich doesnt turn on?

it was working well, and after few months of no use, it just cant turn on.

If the iMac is attached to external devices, first remove them all.
Press the Start button for 10 seconds and release it.
Start normal.

Let us know if there is any progress.

it doesnt have nothing but keyboard and mice, i tried pressing the power button more than 10 secconds and nothin'...
what else can try?

hmm

I had this problem on a machine of mines, I had to replace the Power Supply ($200 Value)

That might be the problem, Check apple.com for help.

I have said this before but will repeat it, if the PRAM battery is completely dead, the older iMacs will not power on. I have 2 here that did that very thing and it was the dead battery. Worth a check anyway.

If you have a voltmeter check it first to be sure. A good one is 3.6Volts DC. Good Luck. Hope that solves it. Did for me, but do remember it could be something else, but it's s cheep way to find out.
