My brain is definitely not in gear today.. in my head there was more to the beginning of the post ..something along the lines of the following ;)

Is it safe to install this update? Will it sort out any airport issues? Will it over ride the .9 drivers I put back to get Airport working again? I'm not normally one to worry about updates from Apple, just install them and carry on but after the last one I'm a bit more hesitant!

In short when it comes to installing this one.. deal or no deal?

I install every Apple update without problem. So I'd say install it, there hasn't been any complaints about this one.

All fine.. apart from it running the slowest it ever has :p

What is running slow, your Mac or Wireless internet? A lot of Updates boot really slow the first time then are normal next boot.

Was just that! Haven't tried out wireless yet so I'll turn it on now!! :Smirk:

Has anyone noticed dock problems since the update? All of a sudden (seemingly right after I installed the update), with having made no changes to preferences, after the update, my dock will not auto-hide. The box is checked to auto hide, but no dock is visible on my screen. If I uncheck the box to auto-hide, the dock is visible -- but visible all the time. Anybody?

Thanks - did not know that! Was getting worried about how my computer has slowed down since the update. Will turn it off as soon as I finish here.

Don't want to hijack this thread but our imac G4 has crashed the last two times the automatic update ran. Each time I have had to use Disk Warrior to get it working again - any ideas what the fault might be please?
