Really, though, I have four kids under the age 5. It's hard. I ususally try to sneak in a few minutes after work, but I usually have to wait until after 8:00 before they go down. After spending some time with wifey, my time starts. Usually goes from 9:30pm to 11:30pm. I am constantly tired, but I can't stop using and learning about my MacBook!
We have 6, ages 11 down to 12 months.... Between working and cheer camp, baseball camp, trips to the beach and..... "wife" time, ive been staying up till like 2-3am just to browse around for accessories for the macbook
I am in the process of cleaning up my office right now, and once the desk is all dusted nice im going to open her up for a test drive
ps: I have macbook credits with the wife, I sold my powerbook two years ago to provide some extra cash for a family trip to disney
It is really hard with kids. Although we have only 2; terrible 2's and 11 months. They really run amuck. I usually get home around 6pm, eat dinner, bath kids, put them to sleep. Which only give me an hour or two before shuteye to do anything else; browsing, paying bills, etc...
WOW, 6 kids. I have a 7 month old and a 5 year old. I am constantly findong little 5 year old fingerprints all over my macbook screen. My son refuses to use mommy's HP windows laptop and insists on playing his games on my book.
Just think...you're all bringing up a bunch of little "macettes." It'll be worth it all. I have 3 kids (adults), 9 grandkids and 4 great grandkids.
They don't touch my mac!!
Kids are great! We have just one - nearly 9 years old (where *did* the time go?!) You'll get to the Mac gr4ywolf. You need to. You need to play with Photo Booth with the kids. Oh and then there's Tux Paint; be sure to get the add-on package too, because that has the "stamps".
Our 11 month old loves the iTunes visualization, and sometimes the photobooth, but soon he'll enjoy it more I'm sure. Our 2 year old loves watching Cars DVD on the computer. Keeps him busy for a while
Two weeks ago in our school district... yes in JULY...
moving to a traditional school district at the end of the month... starts end of August.
Remember when labor day weekend was the last weekend of your summer vacation? It was full of Back to school sales, and your last trip to the beach... poor kids today.
