Ok so I have a new Mac Pro and I used BootCamp to install windows vista home premium. Every time I try to run CS 1.6 it won't let me run it in OpenGL...it says "Does not support graphic mode, changing to Software Mode"...anyone know why this is happening?

I've just switched to a Mac after spending the last 15 years using Windows.

The chances are your Couter Strike issues lie with Vista. If you want to run Windows games whether it's on a Mac or PC, use XP, at present Vista is very poor for gaming.

I have run CS on Vista Business and Vista Ultimate without a problem. I did notice a drop in framerate, but given that you're running a Mac Pro, it should still run like a champ.

You installed the Apple drivers after you installed Vista, right?
